On November 29, at the construction site of the standardization plant (phase II) of the 2023 silkworm cocoon silk industrial park in Wusu City, excavator and dump truck construction personnel were carrying out earthwork transportation.

In order to ensure the quality of the project and do a good job in safe production in winter, we have developed a targeted special plan for winter construction, and reasonably arranged different types of work to ensure the orderly progress of the project."

It is understood that the construction project of the standardized workshop (Phase II) of Wusu Cocoon Silk Industrial Park in 2023 is located in the north of Fushun Road and the west of Shenyang Road in Wusu Industrial Park. The project plans to build 86363.36 square meters of standardized factory buildings and 177.12 square meters of auxiliary buildings, with a total construction investment of about 237.507 million yuan. Construction started in October this year, and the project is expected to provide 1500 direct jobs after reaching its capacity.

This year, Wusu City introduced Hangzhou Yinxiu Silk Co., Ltd. through investment promotion, with a contract amount of 10 billion yuan, to develop an intelligent whole industry chain project integrating mulberry planting, sericulture, silk reeling, silk weaving and sales, and build a silkworm cocoon and silk industry cluster. The implementation of the project will accelerate the adjustment of the agricultural industrial structure of Wusu City, seize the national strategy of "moving mulberry from east to west", transfer the sericulture industry in the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta to the northwest, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of planting and breeding industries, achieve the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries, and promote the high-quality economic development of Wusu City.
