However, the clothing industry itself is a non-standard industry (an industry that provides non-standard products or services), with many upstream and downstream links, fast changing consumer demand, various production processes and raw materials, and often faces the risk of high inventory.

By innovating the digital on-demand flexible supply chain model of "small order quick reaction", Xiyin has solved the high inventory risk of the industry and reduced waste from the source. "Based on the flexible supply chain and industrial Internet built on a digital basis, we make more accurate predictions by grasping fashion trends and consumer feedback in real time from the front end, so as to develop the follow-up product style. When entering the production link, the requirements and standards of production and quality management of each style will be synchronized to each supplier in real time through digital tools, and then the supplier will conduct production scheduling and production management to solve production problems in a timely manner. " The relevant person in charge of Xiyin said.

According to the data recently released by the consulting agency GlobalData, from the perspective of market share in the global fashion market in 2024, Xiyin has become the world's third largest fashion retailer, surpassing ZARA, H&M and Uniqlo, after Nike and Adidas, by virtue of its advantages in digital on-demand flexible supply chain.

Moreover, since 2023, Xiyin has carried out the work of deepening supplier empowerment. By the end of 2024, Xiyin has invested a total of 250 million yuan to continuously empower suppliers in four major areas: technological innovation, training support, factory expansion, and community public service.

"Previously, I only knew about production, but I didn't understand the process and concept of lean management." Xie Shuangtao, a child clothing supplier of Xiyin, was deeply impressed by this. "Before lean management, the workshop site and warehouse were often stacked in disorder, auxiliary materials were placed at random, and there was a lack of classified management. Many things were hard to find, inefficient, and easy to waste. Now, a search in the system will tell you where it is. Now, Xie Shuangtao has successively opened 4 new branches, with the total area of the factory increased by 7 times, the number of workers increased by 10 times, and the monthly shipment volume increased from 5000 to 6000 pieces to 400000 pieces at the peak.

At the same time, Xiyin continued to promote technological innovation and green low-carbon transformation, and added more than 10 billion yuan of smart supply chain infrastructure to further reduce costs, increase efficiency and promote sustainable development of the entire system.

In the aspect of raw materials, Xiyin, together with Donghua University, the leading university in the industry, has jointly developed a more practical and economical industry breakthrough recycled polyester solution. On the basis of ensuring the quality of recycled polyester, it can expand the range of recycled materials and is expected to accelerate the application of recycled polyester. In the production and manufacturing process, the innovative digital cold transfer printing cowboy technology saves 70.5% water compared with the traditional cowboy production process. At present, Xiyin actively promotes zero water consumption digital heat transfer technology products in the supply chain to replace traditional screen printing. The utilization rate has reached 65%, which not only saves energy and carbon, but also improves efficiency.

In storage and logistics, in addition to the rooftop photovoltaic project, Xiyin has also jointly tested and built a 9.6 meter new energy van electric truck for inter warehouse transfer with partners such as Sinotruk, Dongfeng and Ningde Times. Recently, it has officially put into operation in large quantities. It is planned to put more than 130 vehicles into operation in 2025, and it is estimated that nearly 10000 tons of carbon can be reduced throughout the year.

In addition, Xiyin has continuously invested more than 10 billion yuan in recent years to build a supply chain infrastructure centered on Guangzhou, radiating Zhaoqing, Foshan, Jiangmen and other cities, and integrating "green, smart and automatic". Among them, the first phase of the supply chain project in Guangzhou Xiyin Bay District, located in Zengcheng, was officially started last year. The total investment of the third phase of the project will exceed 10 billion yuan, and the annual export volume is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan after all the projects reach their full capacity. It is expected that the peak number of industrial talents can reach about 100000.
