Jane Hamilton Nielsen joined Coach in September 2011 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He was the chief financial officer of PepsiCo beverage company in the Americas.

In April of this year, Coach announced plans to cut two senior management positions and 300 other staff to push forward 20% in the 2017 fiscal year.

Coach said that management restructuring and job cuts will help them develop into a "flexible and scalable business model" which was proposed two years ago and is expected to be completed in the end of fiscal year 2017. The company expects the pre tax profit in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2016 to be in the range of US $65 million to US $80 million.

When Coach disclosed the plan, the company just announced that its first quarter profit grew in three years, mainly driven by overseas markets.

At that time, it was reported that the company's president and chief operating officer, Gebhard F. Rainer, and President, global marketing, digital marketing and consumer experience leader DavidDuplantis will leave the company.

Coach CEO Victor Luis points out that these initiatives will help Coach become a brand oriented company, reduce internal inefficiency and expand corporate responsibility, and maintain a consistent marketing approach in the global market. Coach's brand update has been implemented several years ago, and the company hopes that the next stage will be pformation.
