GDP Quality Textile Industry Pformation

Recently, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the "China scientific development report 2011" for the first time in various regions of China "

Gross domestic product

"Quality" has been ranked, which has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.

The report shows that Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Tianjin and Jiangsu ranked the top five GDP quality in all parts of China, while the GDP ranking in the western provinces is in a relatively backward position.

Some analysts believe that it is of great significance to rank and evaluate GDP around the world by quality rather than quantity.

This will help us to grasp the true level of the economic development of all parts in a more comprehensive and accurate manner, and help to break away from the "GDP worship" of the only quantity in terms of value concept, and further promote the continuous deepening of popularization of people-oriented, comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable Scientific Outlook on Development.

Some media pointed out that China has been using GDP as a measure for many years.

Economics

Development and even the only important indicator of national development, of course, can reflect the economic strength of a region and even a country to a certain extent, but this can not fully reflect the economic development.

Ignoring the extensive development of quality, GDP is no longer equal to a province that has entered the "strong economic province", nor does it mean China has entered an "economic power".

Niu Wenyuan, editor in chief of the report and counselor of the State Council, stressed that the purpose of this report is to enable the public to scientifically understand GDP, neither blindly worshipping GDP nor blindly abandoning GDP.

All regions in China should constantly pursue the "good quality GDP", that is, "rational and efficient, less resources, less sacrificing the environment", and comprehensively reducing the natural cost and production.

cost

GDP under the premise of social cost and institutional cost.

A few years ago, Du Yuzhou, President of the China Textile Industry Association, proposed that China's textile industry must strive to achieve the "five major changes".

The so-called "five major changes" first means changing from relying mainly on comparative advantage of labour force to relying mainly on innovation driven, vigorously promoting independent research and development, introducing digestion, speeding up technological pformation, eliminating backward equipment and improving labor.

productivity

Secondly, we should increase the contribution rate of technology and brand to the economic growth of textile industry; secondly, we should change from resource consumption to resource saving, develop circular economy and low carbon economy; third, we should change from ignoring the environment to environment-friendly, developing cleaner production and strengthening environmental governance; fourth, we need to pform from extensive production organization to modern intensive organization mode, promote the adjustment of enterprise structure, regional structure and industrial cluster structure, and further expand the all-round international cooperation of resources, technology, production, design and research, brand, education and so on; fifth, we need to pition to a more perfect market economic order, improve market efficiency and strengthen industry self-discipline.

"Rational and efficient, less resources, less sacrifice to the environment, reducing the cost of natural, production, society and system?" now reminds us of the "five big changes" put forward by President Du, and every change is consistent with the pursuit of "quality GDP".

Over the years, China's textile industry has shouldered people's livelihood and national interests.

Economics

While supporting the important tasks of the international competitive advantage, we have actively adjusted the structure and changed the way of development, which has made great efforts in pursuit of "quality GDP" and has made considerable progress.

Take energy conservation and emission reduction, during the "11th Five-Year" period, the comprehensive energy consumption per unit of added value of China's textile industry has decreased by about 40%, and the amount of fresh water produced by printing and dyeing cloth per 100 meters has been reduced by 37.5%.

Pollution control and resource recycling technology have been greatly promoted.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, the energy conservation and environmental protection goals of the textile industry have also been determined: on the basis of energy saving and emission reduction to meet the national mandatory standards and the energy saving and emission reduction tasks issued by the state, large-scale cleaner production will be achieved and basically a low-carbon, green and circular economy system will be established.

People often say that there are only one wrong answer.

The pursuit of "good quality GDP" coincides with the "five great changes" in the textile industry. This is no accident, but the inevitable result derived from the Scientific Outlook on Development principle.
