The national standard has been approved by the National Standardization Management Committee in 2009 with the Announcement No. ninth, the standard code is GB/T 24252-2009, and the implementation date is February 1, 2010.

The implementation of the national standard of silk quilt is expected to change the current situation of silk quality being mixed up.

The newly released GB/T 24252-2009 national standard of silk quilt is based on the industry standard of the silk quilt.

Industry standard

Some of the contents have been revised to national standards after revision.

The newly issued national standards have made new regulations on the quality of silk quilts in terms of definition, packaging requirements, grading, internal quality, appearance quality and process quality.

This standard is applicable to silk quilts made of mulberry silk and tussah silk as main raw materials and made by sewing and quilting.

In addition, it is clear that silk quilts can be classified as pure silk quilt and mixed silk by two types.

Of which 100% of the silk content is called pure silk quilt, and the silk content of 50% or more is mixed silk quilt.

Due to its natural silk production, the quilt has excellent characteristics of warmth, breathability, moisture absorption and softness.

The production process of silk is simple, the entry threshold is relatively low, and the added value of products is very high. Therefore, more and more enterprises enter the industry.

It is understood that due to the different raw materials and production processes, the quality and performance of the products are quite different, which makes it difficult to identify the quality of the tire.

The national standard of silk quilt has been formally implemented since February 1, 2010. It is expected to standardize the quality of silk quilt and change the current quality of good quality and bad quality, so that consumers can buy high-quality silk quilts.

At present, the production and marketing enterprises of silk quilts should be prepared to learn and understand the main contents of the new standard, especially the labeling requirements and quality requirements on the outer packaging, so as to ensure that the silk produced and entered the market after February 1, 2010 is in line with the requirements of the national standard of GB/T 24252-2009 "silk quilt".
